How we created Tuff Stuff Dog Beds

As a family besotted by dogs, we soon learned how very difficult it was to find the right bed for our dogs.

 

We pretty much looked everywhere for a bed that met the four major criteria we wanted: extremely comfortable, easily cleaned, readily transportable and lasting. And found durability to be key, and most difficult to find.

 

Dogs can be tough on their belongings, especially their beds, often leading to torn fabric and broken frames. In fact, we regularly faced the challenge of keeping our dogs from chewing and destroying their beds.

 

So, we created The Tuff Stuff Dog Bed.

 

It’s designed to deliver a bed that limits the opportunity for dogs to chew through the material.

 

As an example, our Tuff Stuff Dog Bed, from our elite ranges, with Tuff Stuff Breathable Woven Paw Proof Mesh, is a smooth, woven mesh fabric with welded seams to ensure durability as opposed to just being sewn edges which may give over time.

 

Based on our own experience and listening to our many customers from various dog shows, markets and social marketing platforms, we created our exclusive woven Breathable PawProof Mesh.

 

We rejected the traditional PVC fabric because it does not allow for breathing, which makes all dogs hot, sweaty, uncomfortable and restless.

 

We also rejected the widely-used shade cloth fabric which is very rough and may cause skin irritations.

Why No Mesh Over the Aluminium Framing?
